Encouraging the Growth of Our High School Students
Next Meeting: March 24 Sleep-Out
YPF (Young Peoples’ Fellowship)
The YPF is a youth group that encourages growth in two ways. First, its monthly parties give sixth and seventh graders social gatherings where they can enjoy fellowship while practicing consideration for others, social skills, and leadership skills. Second, the parties allow them to build the type of caring community that will make their experience in the eighth grade Confirmation Program especially rewarding. They develop friendships not only with one another, but also with the Adult Advisors including the Rev. Joan Conley, who is in regular attendance. Each one is welcome to bring a guest to any YPF party. All YPF dinner parties will require rsvp.
YPF Parties for Sixth and Seventh Graders
Next meeting: Sunday, March 26
Future YPF dates: April 30
The YPF’s SUNDAY AFTERNOON BOWLING PARTY!! The “whrrr” of those balls down the lanes, the “smash” and “clatter” of the pins—oh, yes, it’s a fun sport and St. E’s 6th and 7th graders will be enjoying it at the YPF’s SUNDAY AFTERNOON BOWLING PARTY on March 26, from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Brunswick Fair Lawn Lanes, 22-22 Maple Avenue in Fair Lawn. Pizza and soda will be provided. YPFers can bring a friend and each should bring $12 apiece to pay for shoes and games. No bowling experience is necessary: this is just for fun! Parents are welcome to stay, socialize, and bowl a few games of their own.
