Interested in the Spiritual Development of Young People?
We all reaffirm our commitment to support young people in their life in Christ every time a child is baptized. One of the most effective ways we can fulfill that promise is by taking a turn as a mentor, leader, or teacher in the Christian education program at St. Elizabeth’s. We are blessed with a strong and lively Church School, and that is the result of the commitment of parents who bring their children here each week, of children who come prepared to grow and to learn, and especially of all who step forward to plan and lead classes, Chapel, special holiday programs, trips, and all the events which shape our year together.
Teachers work in teams, teach for about 10 weeks, and provide vital mentoring and modeling for our youngest members. Principal requirements: A desire to help children learn about God and the Christian Life through Bible stories, activities, and conversation. Have questions?
